Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, making recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Upsell drink specials and promotions to increase sales
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient bar operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and mixing techniques
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of POS systems for order processing and cash register operations
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations and ability to work well within a team
