Ithaca College’s Marketing Communications Division is looking to hire a student assistant to assist with project management, content management, and research. The incoming student will also work closely with a team of other student workers in the department.
A former student worker said:
“As someone who has had several jobs and internships, I have confidence in saying that this job is unlike anything else you will find on or off campus. This team treated me like a professional in that they gave me actual responsibility as well as the freedom to take risks. They allowed us to identify potential areas for growth and opportunities to advance our departmental mission. It was this flexibility and encouragement that allowed us to apply for an internal grant and then use the funding to co-lead a project. Putting a lot into this position, I got a lot out. I further developed my communication, time management, and project management skills. Most importantly, I made great relationships with my co-workers. You won't meet a better team elsewhere!”
