Job Description-Accounting Analyst:

This position will report to the Accounting Manager, and responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a thorough understanding of the SWJ transaction process and our system, Sage 100 ERP.
  • Cross-training with the other Accounting Analysts to ensure coverage for core functions, which include purchasing, customer and vendor invoice processing, cash application and A/R management.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager as time permits with additional functions and analyses, which include cycle counting and various account analyses.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
  • Two years accounting experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat (pdf files), networks and the Internet. Sage 100

ERP or like experience.

  • Ability to work in a team environment, learn from and share knowledge with team members.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written or typed form.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills with an ability to adapt to changing business demands and responsibilities.
