The CAD Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models and creating in-process work instructions to support manufacturing and engineering operations. This role is critical in conceptualizing and turning ideas into functional, working models.
Responsibilities:- Develop detailed solid and surface models using CATIA V5/V6 based on machine in-process requirements.
- Create clear and concise work instructions and sketches for manufacturing processes.
- Ensure adherence to standard drafting practices when developing documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering staff to meet project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical publications to inform design and models.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 CAD Modeling is essential.
- Experienced in creating detailed 3D solid and surface models for manufacturing processes.
- Capable of producing in-process work instructions and sketches.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiar with machine shop practices and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Mathematics, Physics, or Industrial.
- This position is onsite only. No hybrid or remote work options are available.
