Stryker DES is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Site Safety & Health Officer on project sites in Connecticut and New York who have at least at least 5 years of safety experience in the decommissioning, demolition, construction, and environmental remediation industries.
Candidates will report Stryker DES's Corporate EHS Director and will help deliver Stryker DES’s core values: excellence in service, commitment to health, safety and attention to regulatory compliance. The working environment will start at the site in Wallingford Connecticut and will vary for future potential travel with each job as qualified candidates(s) would be moving from site to site depending on our client’s needs, workload and project scope. Mobility and Project Assignment: The Site Safety & Health Officer will be assigned to new project locations across the United States upon the completion of their current projects. This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to new environments and challenges, as project assignments can vary in location and scope. Candidates should be prepared for and comfortable with frequent travel and potential relocations to meet the evolving needs of our clients and projects.
Travel: This is a field-based position with up to 100% travel.
