Could you be our next Corporate Safety Director?
In this role, you will promote our 24/7 Safety Culture by demonstrating that safety leadership and performance are driven by attitudes and behaviors. You'll provide technical expertise to operational teams and support the project planning process. You will provide leadership to build and maintain a professional safety organization across the entire enterprise from project focused safety facilitators to branch safety managers and regional safety directors. Building collaborative relationships with operational leaders to ensure safety excellence is intrinsic in all operations is key. Additionally, you'll support the injury management process and ensure all incidents are avoidable through proactive measures.
You will also lead and/or coordinate safety training in areas such as safety requirements, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment. Conducting, facilitating, and reviewing safety assessments to ensure compliance with regulations will be part of your responsibilities. Working with project personnel and teams to perform root-cause analyses and implement corrective solutions during incident reviews is crucial. Furthermore, you'll compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to occupational accidents and hazards, and participate as a Subject Matter Expert in project-specific pre-planning processes.
