STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is the in-house engineering business line of Structural Group.

We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Shop Technician to be based in our Pasadena, TX Office . As a Shop Technician for  Structural Technologies Solutions, you will be accountable for providing support with the Manufacturing, preparation and packaging of products prior to shipping; Work with others to manufacture products as designed; as well as maintenance and orderly storage of tools, equipment and supplies.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

• Operating hand-held, electric power tools and non-powered tools as well as more complex equipment within the shop
• Assisting and learning all stages of manufacturing for the products.
• Ability to read and understand design drawing and measure materials correctly.
• Adhering to our Safety 24/7 safety culture as well as all applicable safety standards

Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position: 

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience in a warehouse / plant environment for a construction products company
• Proven experience in a well-structured safety program
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure
