Employment Type: Part-Time 16-36hrs/weekly with possibility of more hours if clients needs increase.

Shift days & hours may fluctuate based on clients needs.

We are looking for someone who is interested in working in Portage, MI for overnight shifts typically 10pm-6am / 11pm - 7am. In your personal vehicle doing patrols in your car, on foot of the parking lot/outside buling, checking doors, etc. You will be required to fill out a daily log report each shift worked and submit at the end of your shift.

This is an ARMED position, must have or willing to obtain CPL and have a side-arm to apply.

Our licensed and insured security firm is seeking qualified individuals to fulfill positions as Armed Security Full-time & Part-time. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security operations, loss prevention, law enforcement or military. A strong customer service background is also preferred. Opportunity for advancement based on experience. Must pass our initial training, pass a background check and drug screen, possess or be able to obtain CPL, and No criminal history. High School Diploma is also required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift at least 50 lbs and potentially work in a variety of environments and inclement weather. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

Responsibilities:
Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function & security
Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
Familiarity with security equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overnight shift
