As the Continuous Improvement Manger you will be responsible for all continuous and lean improvements across the divisions. This includes creating, executing, and assessing a continuous improvement strategy.

Essential functions:

• Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities to gain efficiencies and improve quality
• Lead and design lean manufacturing goals for all divisions based on the Toyota Production System model
• Execute on goals by leading kaizen events and other lean methodologies and tools
• Ensure follow up of all executed events and provide feedback to leaders
• Train peers and manufacturing leadership on lean methods and tools
• Design, implement and maintain machinery to automate processes, especially robotic cells and CNC fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a safe work environment and lead by example
• Adhere to annual budget and expenses
• Lead continuous improvement team based on goals and provide learning/development opportunities and conversation

Required education and experience:

• Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or related field
• 7 years of experience in business strategy, project management or business development
• 2 years of experience leading teams
• Proficiency with TPS processes
• Experience developing employee training programs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred education and experience

• Green and/or black belt certified
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
