Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders and enter them into the POS system
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts, taxes, and tips
- Experience using a cash register or POS system, preferably Aloha POS
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Knowledge of kitchen operations to assist with food preparation
