We are actively seeking a passionate, educated, and experienced individual to join our team as a Health Talk Specialist. This position involves outlining your presentation, creating a slidedeck, and hosting a live 30-minute health talk followed by a Q&A session for a corporate group. Please see dates/themes below:

• 6/26 - A Guide to Shopping and Cooking with Seasonal Produce from the Farmers Market
• 8/29 - Practical Strategies for Self-Care & Personal Growth
• 10/30 - Creating Your Personal Wellness Vision

Location: 777 Mariners Island Blvd. San Mateo, CA 94404

Salary: Starting at $150 per session

Position: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, unique, & informative presentations in person.
• Research, outline, develop, and present a slidedeck requested topic.
• Engage with participants throughout live sessions, leading discussions, answering questions, providing encouragement.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive virtual environment for all participants.
• Maintain a professional and organized appearance and demeanor.

Requirements:

• 2 years experience in public speaking
• Strong understanding of health and wellness principles (employee well-being and corporate well-being preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Heath Science, Nutritional Science, Public Health, Communications, or closely related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

**The ideal candidate will be comfortable hosting all 3 Health talks, but please still apply if you feel comfortable leading 1 or 2 on the topics above.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $150.00 per hour
