At the heart of StretchLab Lee’s Summit, is the undeniable passion of our owners experience after a horrific skiing accident at the age of 28 that began a long and unsuccessful recovery from a broken neck until he was introduce to StretchLab seven years later. As the saying goes, it’s better late than never, and in less than 6-months of membership at a Dallas StretchLab studio, the persistence paid off and he was able to regain a quality of life to enjoy his 8-month old son and amazing wife. StretchLab Lee’s Summit is the first of 10-studios to be developed in the next 5-years after our owner left his career and moved to Kansas City in early 2024.
StretchLab departs from the stereotypical franchise culture and is not satisfied with being profitable, but rather, he is determined to return the life changing value and quality of life he gained back after his membership experience at StretchLab in Dallas while working in Corporate finance. As the world’s leading, and largest personalized 1:1 stretch service — we provide an experience unlike a physical therapy clinic and also operate independently from the regulations and cookie cutter approach that many medical practices have no choice but to comply as a result of the health insurance payments required to operate. Our dedicated team of Flexologists are deeply committed to guiding our clients toward achieving their wellness objectives through personalized, one-on-one stretching sessions. We pride ourselves on leading with a set of core values that positively influences our community.
As a Flexologist, team members partner with a dedicated list of members through our premier assisted stretching sessions with a singular goal of improving the range of motion, flexibility, posture, and mobility of our customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minutes)
Encourage, motivate and educate clients throughout stretch sessions about benefits of stretching and StretchLab’s specific technique (PNF).
Help build up StretchLab membership and retain clientele.
Deliver superior customer service experience, focused on stretching results.
Assist General Manager and Sales/Front Desk staff with studio "tours" for prospective members, Introductory Stretches & membership sales, as needed.
Attend team meetings and required educational trainings & presentations.
Clean & maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time.
Handle member concerns when applicable.
Qualifications:
Passion for a start up environment is a must
Passion for body work - stretching, flexibility & mobility.
A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with clients.
Required background/certifications:
Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.
Strong interpersonal skills and social savvy; ability to connect with people.
Passion for helping clients achieve their wellness goals.
Must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and professional.
Must be available to go through our Nationally Accredited Assisted Stretching Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials, 2 days of in-person/hands-on training and 20 hours of practicum.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
