StretchLab is seeking experienced health or fitness professionals that have worked for years in the industry and know the body and how it moves. Professionals who are passionate about helping others move and feel better. And know how to make and execute improvement programs.
StretchLab requires a license, certification, or degree before entering our extensive training to learn how to stretch the StretchLab way, but we would like to offer an opportunity to the right person, with experience and drive, to enter a new work/study program. This individual would work in the studio helping the sales & operation side of the business while obtaining the required certification, with our help. When ready, the next step would be to enter the StretchLab training program and become a certified Flexologist. This work/study program would allow a dedicated and ambitious professional to understand all aspects of the studio, which will only help career advancement.

StretchLab is the leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching. At StretchLab, our clients aren't told how to stretch, they GET stretched. We have gathered a team of experts already certified, licensed, or degreed in an array of health/fitness related fields. StretchLab prides itself on having the finest team of stretching professionals, and we're looking for others who are that good too! StretchLab has the only nationally accredited training program that ensures our clients receive a world class stretching session.

To be considered, you must be willing to work at least 20 hours a week. Evening/weekend work is required, but we're only open in the mornings on the weekends, and you would not be required to work every evening.

Flexologist Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
• Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele
• Ensure safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab polices and safety rules
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
• Handle member concerns when applicable
• Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed
• Maintain strong social media presence to client membership and retention
• Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time

Qualifications:

• Love of fitness environment is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility
• Experience working in a fitness/health environment providing hands-on training with clients
• Fitness or health related certification, license, or degree is required, but it can be obtained during the work/study program
• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
• Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy
• Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals
• Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies
• Must be available to go through our Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 2 days of in-person/hands-on training
