StretchLab Carmel Rancho is currently searching for a few great candidates to join our founding team of Flexologist in our opening phase of our "coming soon" studio located on Carmel Rancho Boulevard in Carmel, CA.

Founded in 2015 in Venice, California, Stretchlab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted PNF stretching. With Co-Founders coming from the Personal Training industry, StretchLab has created a variety of offerings to empower clients to "Live Long". StretchLab has gathered a team of experts already certified in an array of related fields - physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, Pilates, and more - and brought in the world's leading authority on stretching and flexibility to deliver on the promise of having the finest team of stretching professionals gathered anywhere. StretchLab's proprietary Flexologist training ensures that their clients receive a world-class stretching session.

Position; Flexologist

The role of a Flexologist is to deliver the best one-on-one assisted PNF experience possible. You'll help clients reach their goals with more flexibility, range of motion, posture, stronger muscles and increased sports performance. Gaining more freedom to move better at work, at the gym and in life. We invest in our team by providing paid training in StretchLab's proprietary Flexologist Training Progroam, along with 60 hours of intensive instruction in our PNF stretch modality as well as continued education monthly, making you the best of the best, and keeping you that way! Our Flexologist certification is nationally recognized by NASM, AFAA and other agencies for CEU (continuing education units) and has recently been approved as a standalone certification you can add to your credentials!

The job

• Learn and perform 25 and 50 minute 1:1 stretch sessions
• Engage and support clients across all ages, sizes and fitness levels
• Set goals with clients; encourage and educate them along their journey
• Learn Club ready platform; manage client progress through notes & MAPing
• Attend all trainings; keeping current on new techniques and stretch education
• Assist with pop-ups & demos, community events, and promotions
• Social media posts; help share the word about StretchLab to our community

Qualifications

• Passion for health, wellness and helping people live better lives
• Required certification in fitness or bodywork; Massage, Personal or Athletic Training, Physical Therapy/PT assistant, Yoga or Dance instructor, or a degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Athletic Training or a related field
• Previous experience working with clients 1:1 in a wellness space preferred
• Fantastic communication skills; Must LOVE connecting with people
