Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of IT training across the organization
• Accountable for the continual assessment of user development, training materials, and training vehicles to ensure continuous improvement and relevance of all business functions

Duties Include:

• Responsible for development of a Training Strategy and the development and execution of the Training Plan
• Responsible for establishing training standards, templates and training development tools
• Responsible for establishing and coordinating a Super User Network for all SAP Modules and other information systems
• Responsible for training documentation as applicable
• Participates in role mapping for business systems
• Acts as a liaison between business units and the IT team to ensure effective adoption of business process changes
• Responsible for developing and tracking metrics to ensure that training is working
• Required to travel from their home office to all other office and branch locations in the US and Canada as needed
• Uses instructional design methods, including conceptual knowledge and application of adult learning theory
• Produces and facilitates the development of relevant training materials including training manuals / decks, simulations / multi-media visual aids, job aids, and other educational materials
• Leverages best learning practices, standards, and processes to ensure that value is created through development and deployment of training materials
• Identifies and champions new training and development initiatives
• Assists management in identifying areas of risk within the organization and helps mitigate and manage those risks

Qualifications:

Required

• Post-secondary education in business-related field required such as Leadership, Human Resources and/or Organizational Development, Business Operations;
• 5 years of experience leading IT training, SAP experience an asset;
• Strong technical/professional expertise in the areas of learning and development, organizational development, and learning/instructional design;
• Experience with an adult learning methodology;
• Experience managing an IT Training environment, SAP Enable Now an asset;
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, documentation, and editing skills;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint;
• Experience as an administrator of an LMS (Learning Management System); and
• Strong written and oral communication skills and can communicate with all levels including Executive Stakeholders
