Summary
As part of the HR Shared Services organization, the HR Specialist role will deliver first line and day to day support to the Global Freeman and HR team while contributing to the long-term development of key HR processes during the employee lifecycle.
This person will be responsible for processing employee transactions (department changes, organization changes, promotions, etc.) and ensuring the integrity of the HRIS system with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail under the general supervision HR People Operations Leadership.
This position will support our People Operations Human Resources team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position will be based out of Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage and process HR transactions for end-to-end HR processes (including onboarding, transfers, reorganizations, new hires, terminations, job and personal data changes, organizational changes, employee verifications, and background check process), and administer routine functional HR work.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute various forms, letters, templates, job descriptions, memos in support of end-to-end HR transactions.
  • Maintain accurate data in our HRIS systems, including testing and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and employee information per defined processes, procedures, and regulations.
  • Provide effective and dedicated support to employees, addressing questions related to our policies, processes, and programs.
  • Follow up on issues and/or discrepancies as needed to ensure full issue resolution for customers.
  • Review, recommend, document, and implement approaches to continually improve efficiency of HR processes and programs.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on assigned projects.
  • Manage vendor partnerships and act as point of contact for system implementations.
  • Partner with the HR team members including, HR Generalist, HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and other key stakeholders to support overall HR objectives & initiatives.
  • Liaison with key functional areas: Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, Finance, Legal, and IT teams as needed.
  • Handle other projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Critical thinking and analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • 3 years of experience with SuccessFactors or similar HRIS data entry
  • Experience writing SOPs, creating workflows and job aids
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Position is exempt and not eligible for overtime hours
