Additional perks & benefits for year round employees POSITION DETAILS Property Caretakers oversee and execute daily operations and tasks of an assigned residential property. This position requires an individual capable of performing essential property maintenance functions. This includes detection and reporting of problems as they arise, scheduling of recurring tasks to ensure their timely completion, as well as responding to owner requests and inquires. Qualified candidates should possess appropriate interpersonal skills to interact regularly with owners, vendors, and coworkers. Property Caretakers should be prepared to respond calmly and effectively to a wide variety of emergency situations including fire alarms, medical episodes, floods, and power outages. This is a full-time year-round benefit eligible position. This position is compensated at $23.00/hr. ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
Perform house checks
Perform boiler and sprinkler system checks
Conduct light checks
Grounds maintenance including snow removal
Execute basic carpentry including sheetrock repairs (patches) when needed
May perform basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting (training provided)
Perform basic pool and spa maintenance procedures (training provided)
Detect and diagnose mechanical issues and notify appropriate personnel in a timely manner
Provide coverage for other properties as directed
Respond to homeowner inquiries and requests in accordance with Association Management protocols
Emergency response and coordination.
Qualified candidates should possess superior crisis management skills, and react calmly and effectively to dynamic emergency situations including fire alarms, medical episodes, floods and power outages
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma required Experience: Previous building and landscaping maintenance QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Basic knowledge of building systems and landscaping
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to organize and explain information for different audiences: Boards, homeowners, staff etc.
Ability to organize time and projects, track multiple activities
Ability to work independently and with little supervision
Familiarity with Windows, Word, and Excel application
