Additional perks & benefits for year round employees POSITION SUMMARY The Outdoor Technician will be responsible for upkeep of exterior resort areas. The Outdoor Technician will work closely with the Resort Appearance Manager, department supervisors, and janitorial team. The primary goal of the position is to ensure the resort remains safe, clean, and maintained for all resort guests and employees. This is a full-time year-round benefit eligible position. The pay rate for this position is $20/hr. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assist with snow removal around the resort: shoveling, plowing, ice chipping, salting, and sanding
Landscaping duties such as: mowing lawns, tree trimming, mulching, weed eating, weeding beds, shoveling, etc.
Helping with the setup, maintenance and break down of events
Coordinating daily and weekly tasks with supervisors and shift leads
Help with daily setup and breakdown of all lodge area's
Empty trash bins, recycling bins, compost bins and pick up ground litter around the resort
Prepare reports of daily logs and incidents
Attend department safety meetings
Manage and maintain vehicles, tools, and keep inventory of supplies
Assist indoor custodial teams when business volumes require: cleaning windows, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash bins, painting, etc.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Experience: Experience with snow removal and/or landscaping is a plus QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Valid Driver's license with clean record

The primary physical environment in which this position works is out of doors with a high exposure level to hot and cold temperatures, snow, wind, rain, sun, high altitude, extreme heights, lightning, etc.
The degree of strenuous activity within the job is high. Often lifting a weight of 50 pounds throughout the day is common
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees
Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception
