Overnight Front Desk Concierge/Security Job Description

We are seeking engaging, energetic, friendly, and professional individuals to join our team in a unique role that combines the warmth of hospitality with the vigilance of security. This position is situated in our luxury residential high-rise, where the ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality and guest experiences, while also ensuring the safety and security of our residents and guests.

Shifts: Overnight shiftor Part-time

Position Requirements:

• Previous experience in a front desk concierge or security role, preferably overnight
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions
• A commitment to taking pride and ownership in your role and the property
• Ability to listen and respond promptly to residents’ and guests’ requests in a genuine manner
• At least two years of hospitality experience, with a preference for candidates who also have security experience
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and guest service abilities
• Organized, proactive, and self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times
• Ability to think clearly, quickly, and efficiently under pressure

Main Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct residents and visitors with a pleasant attitude, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment
• Exceed residents' and guests' expectations by providing anticipatory service, while also maintaining vigilance to ensure safety and security
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and contractors
• Professional telephone etiquette and accurate message delivery
• Log guest packages accurately, ensure timely delivery, and perform package inventory audits
• Monitor lobby and surveillance cameras, patrol property to ensure resident safety, and report any security concerns
• Assist with scheduling and completion of amenities’ requests, including security-related tasks such as escorting people when necessary
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure the privacy and security of residents and guests
• Conduct regular security checks to maintain high safety standards
• Flexible to work schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays as security needs may vary

Experience Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in Hospitality/Upscale Hotel environment
• 3 years’ experience in a security role, with a preference for experience in a residential or hotel setting
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional service in both hospitality and security contexts
