Job Description: Robotic Assembly Quality Technician
Summary: This role centers on comprehending customer needs, refining and integrating robot automation systems, enforcing quality assurance protocols, and delivering training and support to enhance operations at a robotics customer facility.
Pay rate: $16 per hour
Location: Roswell, GA
Duration of Project: 3 months
Qualification:
- Demonstrated experience in assembling products using basic tools and equipment, showcasing an ability to follow assembly instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Proficiency in handling various components and materials during assembly processes.
- Experience in disassembling subassemblies or components from larger products, demonstrating skillfulness with hands to dismantle parts carefully and safely, along with knowledge of proper tools and techniques for disassembly tasks.
- Notable hands-on skills, including skillfulness and manual dexterity to manipulate small parts and components, coupled with the ability to work with precision and attention to detail during assembly and disassembly processes.
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques, including the ability to interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and technical drawings, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly processes and procedures.
- Basic communication skills enabling effective following of instructions and communication with team members, with an openness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with team members to achieve assembly objectives and contribute positively to a team environment.
- Physical fitness, including the ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions, while maintaining physical stamina to work efficiently during assembly and disassembly activities.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines during assembly and disassembly tasks, with an awareness of potential hazards and the importance of maintaining a safe working environment.
Job Function:
- Thoroughly comprehend the specific needs and expectations of the customer. This includes understanding the types of products being handled, and any unique challenges or regulations.
- Assist in developing a robot system tailored to the locations requirements. This involves disassembling, reworking, replacing components, and reassembling with robust hardware capable of efficiently handling various products while adhering to strict quality control measures.
- Integrate the robot seamlessly into the existing locations infrastructure, ensuring compatibility with other machinery and software systems. Rigorous testing procedures should be conducted to validate the robots performance, reliability, and adherence to quality standards.
- Establish comprehensive quality assurance protocols to monitor the robots performance and ensure compliance with industry regulations. This includes implementing inspections, preventive maintenance, and updating hardware.
- Provide thorough training to colleagues on operating and maintaining the robot system safely and effectively. Additionally, offer ongoing technical support to address any issues or optimization opportunities that may arise, fostering a collaborative relationship with the customer and the worksite to continuously improve operations.
