Fiber Optics & Low Voltage Cabling

Role: Cable Installer

Duration: 3 Months Contract To hire

Location: Wooster Ohio 44691

Job Description :

This is a cable installer position at school systems. Working in this position will require you to install low voltage communication cabling along with other types of cabling for audio, security systems, video systems and more.

Job Duties

  • Install low voltage cabling such as Category 6, Category 6A, Sound cabling, fiber optics, etc...
  • Install ceiling mounted devices such as wireless access point, cameras, speakers and clocks.
  • Ability to read drawings and prints.
  • Ability to work on Ladders and scissor lifts.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Understand Standard Compliant Installations.

Prerequisites for application

Need Valid driver’s license.

Must pass pre-employment drug screen (5 panel includes Marijuana) and background investigation.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Work Location: In person
