Job Description:

• The Solutions Architect /Data Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the success of a major ERP transition project. This position will be tasked with data analytics/architecture and scrum master responsibilities on behalf of a new agile team that is just forming. Key responsibilities will be data profiling and dispositioning from legacy systems to new systems (generally, SAP S/4 HANA), priority data cleansing and enhancement work including AI applications, data transformation and staging, evergreening thru migration and cutover.
• This position will report directly to the owner project team and be an integral part of the success of the project.
• A successful candidate will need to be a self-starter and fluent in data operations in complex systems of record.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in data operations in large complex enterprise systems of record.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Understanding of data quality assessment, validation, and governance practices.
• Experience operating as scrum master on Agile team using Azure Dev Ops.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ERP System Experience: Prior experience working with SAP S/4HANA. Esp. experience with ERP migration.
• Industry Specific Knowledge: Exposure to asset management, esp. industrial/petrochemical assets.
• Programming Experience: Proficiency in languages like Python, Java or others for performing data operations.
• Required: BS in Computer Science, Data Engineering or Similar disciplines

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with others to set transitional data architecture for transition from legacy system to new system.
• Work with Data Lead to profile data and articulate the work scope to achieve a Minimum Functional Case cutover and identify potential enhancements with business justification.
• Develop SQL queries to produce data needed for conditioning.
• Work with others to design and implement integrations between legacy systems and data conditioning/staging environments.
• Support design and implementation of data enrichment and cleansing solutions.
• Configure ADO to align with team needs and facilitate ceremonies to promote effectiveness within the team.
• Administer scrum board and ensure work items are updated and ways of working are efficient.
• Create visuals and summaries to illustrate work scope, status, progress, quality and goals.
• Propose solutions for challenges in area of responsibility.
• Work seamlessly with stakeholders across large multi-BU project to deliver scope and support shared goals.
• Potentially direct the work of other contract resources from time to time, act as a mentor to support their success, and accept accountability for productivity and results.
