We're Hiring! S3 is looking for a PC Support II Technician for our client in Burlington, KS. This is 4x10 Monday - Thursday (Friday off) and could range between 6am - 7:30pm. This role is looking for 2 or more years of experience working in IT in a Windows environment. This role is 100% onsite and may require local travel (using a company vehicle) which required a valid drivers license. Ideally this consultant would like a variety of IT support experience, as they may have to solve an issue with a laptop (rugged or iPad), Active Directory, SQL data, vendor application / software / hardware, etc. This is also a "walk up" location so there may be long term sitting OR standing.

Pay Rate: 28.19/hour on W2 - We offer medical

Duration: 6 months with extension

Job Description:

• This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of desktop computing platforms, as well as installing software not distributed via the network.
• In addition, this position provides support and guidance to end users.

Education/Experience:

• 3 years desktop operating and networking systems
• Working knowledge of standard concepts, best practices and procedures related to set up/configuration of desktop hardware and current operating system.
• Working knowledge of desktop operating and networking systems.
• Communicates effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical.
• Works effectively in a team environment. Makes sound decisions with general guidance.
• Candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for internal customers.
• Proficient with windows 10 support and troubleshooting.
• This job is performed with little supervision and requires the candidate to work independently, multi-task and prioritize workload accordingly.
• Valid driver's license required
