Job Description

Strategic Risk Solutions Inc (SRS), a fast-growing, privately-owned insurance services company, is looking for a full-time Bid Specialist to respond to Request for Proposals (RFP) firm-wide to ensure consistency, accuracy, professionalism, and timeliness. This role will also handle technical writing; specifically drafting articles and white papers.

SRS provides consulting, accounting, and management services to insurance companies, predominantly those licensed as captive insurance companies, in the US, Barbados, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Canada and Europe with a staff of 233 employees and expects to continue to grow and expand domestically and abroad.


  • Provide bid management and proposal presentation support across the global organization
  • Create proposals/presentations aligned with client requirements and company branding
  • Working with local businesses and corporate marketing, draft responses to proposal questions
  • Establish proposal development process including quality review and develop work plans to meet deadlines and hold stakeholders accountable.
  • Compose creative, compelling executive summaries that follow best practice approaches
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team to produce final published proposals and to develop engaging presentation materials
  • Research industry trends and data for market analysis to be used in webinars and white papers.
  • In partnership with subject matter experts, draft articles for publication in industry journals.


Attributes and skill sets:

  • 2-4 years of experience working with Request for Proposals, preferably in the professional services or financial services industries.
  • Solid project management, writing and editing skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong self-management and motivation with the ability to work collaboratively in global environment
  • Proficient with MS Office suite and remote collaboration tools (i.e., Teams, etc.)
  • Working knowledge and experience of CRM software a plus
  • BA/BA degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent field
