For this role, we’ll look to you to:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, providing necessary information and support.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall fleet operations.
  • Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and repairs for the fleet.
  • Coordinate vehicle assignments and monitor utilization to ensure efficiency.
  • Track fuel consumption and implement strategies for cost savings.

The gross hourly range for this position is $21.63 - $26.44. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.

Qualifications


Experience/Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of experience in fleet management, logistics or a related field. 
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in using fleet management software and tools.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel.
  • Ability to be on-call remotely, up to five hours, every third weekend.
