Job Summary

Utility-Scale Battery Energy Storage Technology – DOE LPO Project Polaris.

Required Skills/ Abilities

Individuals must possess at least 5 years of experience in management of deployment of the Utility-scale Battery Energy Storage.
Individual must possess demonstrated experience in oversight of construction planning, scheduling, and project execution; oversight and review of new build Utility-Scale Battery Energy Storage Systems.
Demonstrated experience with projects or programs at comparable scale in a regulated utility environment (G&E plans to expand an existing utility-scale battery energy storage facility.
Experience in construction management organization development, operations and implementation, and QA/QC and health and safety and OSHA compliance (as applicable).
Individuals must demonstrate experience in assessing effectiveness and execution of contractor performance in executing EPC responsibilities or large-scale DER deployment, sub-contractor performance in accordance to requirement and clauses.
Effectiveness of supply chain management with respect to quality control, delivery schedules, and cost management; and demonstrated experience in overseeing management of contractor furnished or government-financed materials for the hydropower activities throughout a large number of project components being deployed and constructed.
Ability to travel. Should assume 3 trips in the first year and one trip annually for additional years.
U.S. Citizenship

Education

Individuals must possess at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, in such fields as one of the engineering disciplines, physical sciences, public or business administration related to technical, manufacturing or construction management.
