Strategic Employment is Hiring an Ignition Developer - SCADA / MES Software Developer Near Broomfield, CO

Job Description

Established and stable manufacturing technology organization is looking for a Mid-level Ignition Developer for their custom product development team. In this role you will build software on top of the Ignition platform that is implemented with international clients in a variety of manufacturing industries. You'll work with a team to create complex solutions that integrate with PLCs, SCADA, MES, and other controls systems. This role also includes up to 20-30% national and international travel for product integration/implementation (usually about 2 weeks at a time).

The role is ideally on-site once per week in either St. Louis or Broomfield areas but full remote will be considered for the right person. Bonus, ESOP, full benefits, 401K, and more!

Qualifications

3 years of Ignition (by Inductive Automation) experience
SQL language

Pluses

Any other programming experience with Java, Python, .NET, C#, Javascript, etc.
Background working with PLCs, HMI, controls systems, or other MES (ex: Siemens, Rockwell)
Other manufacturing industry knowledge
