Strategic Analysis, Inc is Hiring a Briefing Coordinator (#24-073) Near Arlington, VA

Strategic Analysis, Inc, (SA) is actively looking for a driven and talented professional to support DoD's premier research agency, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), whose mission is to make pivotal investments in breakthrough technologies for national security.
SA is currently accepting applications for the position of Briefing Coordinator assigned to DARPA’s Adaptive Capabilities Office (ACO).
ACO identifies and pursues high-risk, high-payoff research initiatives across a broad spectrum of science and engineering disciplines and transforms them into important, new game-changing technologies for U.S. national security.
Duties:
This individual will develop required presentations, unclassified and classified, to support the mission of the Adaptive Capabilities Office (ACO). The individual should be able to quickly understand technical concepts and assist with preparing presentation material that accurately and clearly conveys these concepts. Examples of the type of support include:
  • Coordinating staffer briefings-sending out guidance to Program Managers and working with the Assistant Director, Program Management (ADPM) on budget information.
  • Developing program presentations, including visual aids that help explain complicated technical approaches to non-experts.
  • Developing briefings to senior Department of Defense (DoD) personnel about DARPA’s technology efforts and how they support overall DoD mission objectives.
  • Creating and/or updating graphs, charts, data visualizations, slides, spreadsheets, or other documents with accurate information to support meetings, reviews and taskers.
  • Coordination with ACO leadership, program managers, security and other technical offices as needed. To include drafting timelines, scheduling dry-runs and time to review briefings with ACO leadership to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
Experience:
  • Candidate should have three-five years’ recent and relevant experience required.
  • Must have proven experience working in a briefing/writing position.
  • Be able to manage multiple disparate moving parts and respond quickly to often changing priorities in a high-pressure environment and be skilled at prioritization and time management.
  • Have excellent writing skills and be able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
  • Must be able to multi-task, pick up new concepts quickly and readily handle tasks ranging from briefing support to general administration.
  • Have excellent organization, communication, and coordination.
  • Have discretion, strong spelling and grammar skills, attention to detail and ability to organize last minute and often high-profile taskers is a must.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint.

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

  • BS/BA degree
