I. SUMMARY
Strata Products Worldwide, LLC (Strata) is a global leader in industrial safety and connected solutions that promote a safer, more productive working environment Headquartered in Atlanta, GA., Strata provides local engineering, service, and sales support to the regions of the U.S., Europe, Australia, South Africa, South America, and Mexico.
Strata offers a state-of-the-art electronic safety platform, that includes completely wireless communications and tracking, post-emergency communications, proximity detection and collision avoidance, ventilation and conveyor monitoring, and Wi-Fi systems as well as cellular LTE. Additionally, Strata specializes in the design and manufacturing of emergency refuge chambers, and specialized construction products.
Incumbent will be responsible for developing, integrating, and delivering applications using front- end, back end, database and hosting tools. Delivers software products independently using functional specifications. Utilizes all layers of the stack to complete coding, UI/UX, database integrations, and deployment activities. Is proficient in the utilization of a variety of development programming languages listed below.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead development of the SafeSITE platform by developing software independently or with partners
• Database Design
• API Development
• Web based user interface development
• Aid in server setup and maintenance
• Assist in data mining and custom reporting

A. Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• 10 years’ experience in software engineering of web applications

B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Experience developing web-based user interface with Java Script, Type Script, NodeJS, and ReactJS
• Experience using docker for container based deployments
• Experience running applications in Linux (RHEL and AlmaLinux)
• Experience with running cloud hosted applications with AWS
• Experience maintaining web-based applications running on Apache or Nginx
• Experience with Git, Jira and Confluence
• MySQL or similar database experience (TypeORM would be nice to have)
• Experience developing high fidelity wireframes using Figma is nice to have
• Desire to learn new technologies

The incumbent will have minimal required travel
C. Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to perform general physical exertions, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting materials or equipment.
D. Work Environment
Typical work environment. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
