Wage: $60K-$75K per year depending on experience

Duties and responsibilities

• Gather, compile, and process subscriber call detail records from various sources.
• Generate subscriber monthly billing for distribution to subscribers via print and electronic formats.
• Assists in the setup and configuration of the billing system.
• Works with other departments to ensure accuracy of subscriber order processing
• Works with other departments to set up and maintain connections to internal and external systems via APIs.
• Troubleshoot any billing system issues and work with the billing vendor to resolve such issues.
• Generate reports on billing data using database reporting software.
• May provide training to other departments on the proper use of the billing system.
• Maintains database performance and integrity.
• Adheres to CPNI rules and regulations.
• Assures data is secure by setting up and verifying regularly scheduled backups.
• May write programs/scripts to assist with the collection, processing, and reporting of billing data.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience with computer systems – Microsoft, UNIX, SQL Server, scripting, APIs, peripherals, etc.
• 3 years experience with database reporting software (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Service, Power BI, Amazon Quicksight, etc.)
• Experience with customer order management systems.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with both technical and non-technical individuals.
• Must be able to set priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Must have excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Prior knowledge of wireless, telephone, and broadband technologies is helpful.
• Prior knowledge of accounting, taxing, and customer billing is helpful.

Working conditions

• Will nearly always work indoors in an office environment.
• May share office space with other employees.
