Civil Engineer - Grand Forks, ND

Strata Corporation is seeking qualified applicants for a Civil Engineering position based out of our Corporate Office in Grand Forks. The position is responsible for Engineering Analysis, Project Management, and support of Operations personnel.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engineering analysis
• Project Management
• Project planning and estimating
• Construction Coordination and Management
• Operations support
• Scheduling and Coordinating with Subcontractors
• Review plans, specifications, and addenda for each assigned project.
• Design and implement 3D models for machine control
• Submit Requests for Information(RFI's)
• Prepare basic takeoff
• Quality Control on FAA and or USACE projects.
  • Prepare submittals to ensure materials and processes meet contract requirements
  • Preparing QC plans for procedures and placement
  • Ensure all equipment and materials incorporated into project conform to approved shop drawings or submitted data.
  • Document construction tolerances and any deficiencies encountered.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Familiarity with Design and specifications in the upper Midwest
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in computer programs and operations

Compensation:

Compensation package is dependent upon qualifications and experience

Must possess current valid driver license and pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
