Strange’s has a position opening for a full time Warehouse Supervisor at the Short Pump location. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining an organized warehouse layout and to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and order of the warehouse department. The Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible for receiving, storing, loading and unloading merchandise using various equipment (ex. pallet jack, forklift).

The essential candidate is organized and has experience in a warehouse environment.

This position is full time and comes with full time benefits to include healthcare coverage, 401k, tuition assistance, life insurance, and PTO.

Scheduling: *Monday – Friday 8-5 PM

• At least 1 weekend day during the spring and Christmas seasons

Job Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains work area to ensure warehouse safety
• Unloads and sorts garden center product for distribution
• Completes various preparation and inventory duties (I.e. consolidates product, retrieves product from shelves, etc)
• Monitors daily warehouse activity by keeping clear records as goods enter and leave the warehouse
• Coordinates efficient operation of the warehouse department
• Organizes materials on shelves, racks and bins according to warehouse layout
• Loads customers vehicles in a professional and courteous manner
• Receives, handles and maintains bagged goods
• Assists in outdoor maintenance and maintains warehouse equipment
• Uses forklifts and warehouse equipment in a safe manner
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
