StraCon Services Group, LLC. is Hiring a Project Officer Near Lexington, MD
StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full-Time, Project Officer, to join our team in supporting the NAVAIR program office in Pax River, MD. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Essential Job Duties:
Essential Job Duties:
- The Project Officer serves as the primary interface on project related requirements and technical risks.
- Applies project principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate military weapon systems.
- Reviews and prepares project and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentations.
- Applies project experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
- Analyzes designs, develops, implements, tests, and evaluates automated data processing software related to engineering and functional requirements of military weapon systems, associated support systems, and management information systems.
- Interfaces with system and program contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of the programs/projects.

Experience Requirements:
- Either (a) a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of work experience in field of management, logistics support or acquisition procurement, or (b) eight (8) years of work experience in the field of management, logistics support, or acquisition procurement;
- Experience in management of technical tasks similar in scope, size, and complexity to those contained in the SOW, including management and oversight of complex domestic and international weapons systems programs.
Education Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree.
Security Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Minimum Secret clearance required OR must be eligible to apply and be granted interim DoD interim clearance prior to employment.
