StraCon Services Group, LLC. is Hiring a Part-Time, Computer Programmer, Junior Near Orlando, FL
StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking Part-Time, Junior, Computer Programmers to join our team at NAWCTSD in Orlando, FL. NAWCTSD is the Navy’s principal center for modeling, simulation and training systems technologies. The computer programmer will work with a team in a lab environment to develop state of the art, software driven training systems. The Part-Time, Junior, Computer Programmer responsibilities include the following:
Essential Job Duties:
Essential Job Duties:
- Create, modify, and test the code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run.
- Work from specifications drawn up by software developers or other individuals.
- May assist software developers by analyzing user needs and designing software solutions.
- May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.
Travel Requirements:
- N/A
Experience Requirements:
- 3 or less years of experience with computer programming.
- Basic knowledge of algorithms, data structures, frameworks, and operating systems and platforms.
- Experience with C# and Unity desired.
- Basic working knowledge of high level programming languages (e.g. C , C#, JAVA), scripting (e.g. Python, JavaScript, VB Script, LUA, XML, ASP, ASP.Net and HTML),
- Knowledge of databases, and the principles of computer science, both hardware and software.
- Basic ability with integrated development environments, editors, engines, and debuggers.
- Ability to utilize source control repositories such GIT/CVS/SVN/TFS.
- Ability to communicate with clarity and correct grammar and mechanics.
Education Requirements:
- B.S. in computer engineering, computer science or related technical field with strong emphasis on software programming
Security Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Minimum Secret clearance required OR must be eligible to apply and be granted interim DoD interim clearance prior to employment.
