StraCon Services Group, LLC. is Hiring an Operations Program Analyst, Journeyman Near Lexington, MD

StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Program Analyst. The incumbent will be responsible and accountable to the PMA Operations Officer for the day-to-day business operations within the Joint Program Office to facilitate communications and optimize operations across the programs community.
  • Provide vital support to PMA Program Manager, DPM, and Operations Officer, ensuring cross collaboration between leadership and the broader workforce
  • Manage data calls/ external taskers and action deadlines within PMA
  • Know and maintain standing meetings/operational tempo – may be called upon to set-up and run meetings (in person and via MS Teams)
  • Perform complex and confidential business functions in an extremely fast paced environment
  • Interface on a daily basis with PEO(A) staff and PMA Executive Leadership Team
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations, agendas, notices, minutes, and action reports for customer meetings
  • Work with and within an IPT environment to provide Operations support
  • Serve as quality and consistency control checkpoint for program office briefs/documents provided outside of the PMA including Congress, Office of Secretary of Defense, Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research and Development, Pentagon and Industry partners
  • Promote an engaged workforce through new employee onboarding, support of check-in/check-out process for new PMA staff, planning of professional development training, morale/retention event planning, and mentoring program administration
  • Organize programs, events, meetings, or conferences by arranging facilities, issuing information or invitations and controlling event budget
  • Screen incoming correspondence and respond independently, as needed
  • Manage data/information between MS Teams, One-Note, SharePoint
  • Serve as Action Officer, assign/follow-up with IPTs and individuals on actions as required
  • Manage workflow on routed documents to maintain schedule/due dates
  • Participate in Process/Procedure development and improvement to streamline operations
Experience Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience within NAVAIR, preferably HQ or program office (required)
  • Two (2) years of experience or proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Ability to work well independently or in a team setting
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Excellent organization and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
Educational Requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree in a business, management or relevant technical discipline
  • Allowable Substitution: an AA/AS degree and an additional 4 years’ experience or no degree and an additional 8 years’ experience
Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Minimum Secret clearance required OR must be eligible to apply and be granted interim DoD interim clearance prior to employment
