Summary of Role:

The Investment Operations Analyst is responsible for servicing their assigned clients with anything they may need. Daily interaction and coordination with internal and external stakeholders is key to be successful in this role. The individual in this role will manage their client’s requests using a number of middle office deliverables listed below. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and strong customer service skills.

What you'll do:

  • Service clients of accounts with any tasks, issues, or problems they may bring.
  • Management of day-to-day middle office operational deliverables including: Trade Operations/Portfolio accounting/Pricing/Corporate actions/Performance calculations/Reconciliations/Transactions and holdings reconciliation/ Internal & client reporting
  •  Design and implement complex workflows, drive operational controls and produce excellent client satisfaction results

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Strong technical competency within the Institutional middle office space
  • Solid understanding of the investment management output expected from our clients and their end-Institutional clients.
  • Solid understanding of the daily investment process, data flows and linkages across a global operating model.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer/Client Focus and high level of service.
  • Time Management and ability to prioritize.
  • Proven Collaboration and Teamwork Skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience using portfolio accounting software such as Eagle and Advent
  • Data conversion, configuration, and client onboarding experience preferred

Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field from an accredited college or university required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the capital markets industry; Asset Servicing, Custody, Investment Manager OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients to sustain a positive and beneficial relationship
  • Deep knowledge of various asset types, custom data schemes, and complex workflows
  • Ability to design, document, implement and improve investment operations workflows
  • Proven track record and history of exceeding targets and implementing process improvements
  • High degree of self-motivation, positive attitude, high energy, and a strong desire to be successful required
