Stormwater Operations Specialists is Hiring an Equipment operator Near Thomasville, NC

Our job sites are located in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky and our main office is located in Thomasville, NC .

With your passion for outdoor work and heavy equipment operation, you play a vital role in shaping our infrastructure for the better.

Depending on experience and qualifications, you earn $20.00 / hour .

Following a short 60-day probation period, you're eligible for paid time off (PTO), which accrues over time and reaches up to 11 days after 10 years of dedicated service! We rearrange our holiday schedule to grant our employees 7 days off during Thanksgiving and a 14-day break for Christmas.

Our 7-day on, 7-day off schedule ensures a consistent 80-hour bi-weekly paycheck, even during the off-season. You can expect bonuses and well-deserved recognition for your exceptional efforts.

YOUR IMPACT

Our workweek starts on Tuesday and ends the following Monday. You spend 7 days on, then 7 days off .

Our Stormwater Equipment Operator assists with a wide variety of tasks involving excavation, grading, dredging, erosion repairs, and pipe installation.

You skillfully operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, hydraulic dredges, and more. You're at the forefront of preparing construction sites, collaborating with our team to ensure the availability of materials, tools, and equipment.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

We're looking for a flexible, communicative, and determined problem solver who meets the following qualifications :

  • 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in landscaping, excavation, grading, or stormwater maintenance and repair
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to drive a truck with a 16 24 foot trailer, stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 80 lbs.

It's a bonus if you can work outside in all types of weather conditions and terrains. You also need to be committed to keeping yourself and your team safe while onsite.
