Restaurant Host / Hostess seats all guests in a friendly manner and assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant

Restaurant Host / Hostess / Greeter is generally a part time restaurant job.

Prior experience as a host, hostess, greeter, maître d, crew member, team member, customer service, cashier, associate or other front of house part time restaurant job highly desirable.

Requirements

You must be 16 years or older to be considered for this opportunity.

1. Accommodates any special needs of guests, i.e., boosters, highchairs, disabilities.

2. Manages the Wait List when the restaurant is full.

3. Provides guest assistance to servers as needed.

4. Maintains a clean and organized work area and completes cleaning as assigned. (5%*) 6. Fills out the feature board and inflates balloons.

Restaurant Host / Hostess Qualification Standards:

1. Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.

2. Mobility required during the entire shift.

3. Transports and carries objects (such as high-chair) up to 15 pounds up to 15 times a shift.

4. Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to stand and exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to four (4) hours in length.

2. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
