We are currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Assistant Store Manager in Mount Airy, NC. This position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week.

As Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility and associated businesses (retail/office center, car wash). You will also be responsible for the management of Storage Consultants and Maintenance workers.

Assistant Store Manager responsibilities include:

• Maximizing potential rental income and sales objectives.
• Achieve and maintain financial goals and responsibilities.
• Consistently deliver superior customer service.
• Ensure company standards of cleanliness and appearance are met or exceeded.
• Be an active and positive participant in required meetings and functions.
• Ensure the scheduling of assistants to ensure proper staffing during all hours of operation.
• Perform audits of physical conditions, perform minor maintenance, and work with contractors as needed.

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma/GED equivalent
• 2 years of experience in retail management, director sales and/or customer service
• 1 years of experience supervising others
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including possible weekend shifts as necessary.
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multi-task
• Good math skills
• Quick learner and computer proficient (MS Office)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present information to various levels of people.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position – standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to lift and/or more up to 50 pounds.
