*Role & Responsibilities: *
We are seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Technician for a well-established manufacturing company in Carson City, NV. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in installation and commissioning of instrumentation
and systems automation as well as preventative and emergency maintenance looking
to further their career within a reputable and innovative organization!
* Responsible for specification, installation, configuration, calibration, and maintenance of process control system elements.
* Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and systems at the facility, utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
* Perform set up and programing in Inductive Automations Ignition SCADA platform.
* Calibrate and repair instruments and associated equipment.
* Set up and installation of network components.
* Record and report data and explain test data for engineering personnel to formulate engineering.
* Develop programs around PLCs and develop/modify programs for HMIs.
*Essential Qualifications:*
* SCADA systems experience required
* HMI and PLC programming
* Knowledge of IIOT principles
* HS Diploma or GED
* 5 years’ experience in instrumentation and controls
*Bonus Qualifications: *
* Technical degree in electrical/electronics or instrumentation
* OSHA certification
