Averro is Hiring a Mechanical Technician Near Huntsville, AL
SHIFT: Day Shift (M-Th)
PAY: 46.20/hr
BENEFITS: Medical insurance, 401K, sick leave as applicable by state law, and EAP.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Test Technician for a space exploration company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in aerospace manufacturing testing looking to further their career in space.
- Precision assembly of rocket engine components: combustion devices, valves, turbomachinery, avionics, test
- Root cause and diagnostic component disassembly, repair, and work
- Hydraulic testing for valve actuation
- Nitrogen and Helium leak testing
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 to 6 years of direct valve, turbomachinery, or engine assembly experience
- Mastery of precision and tight tolerance assembly
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings
