Job Objective

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Recruiter and Recruiting Manager in the full life cycle recruiting process. This includes posting positions through various channels, applicant tracking and screening, interviewing candidates and making recommendations to the Hiring Managers, scheduling interviews, processing job offers and facilitating new hire onboarding. The Recruiting Coordinator will also support our employer branding strategy by creating social media posts, managing advertisements, and participating in our community outreach efforts. 

The Recruiting Coordinator will work on-site at our Home Office in York, ME. The pay rate starts at $20/hour and is based upon experience. 

Key Responsibilities

The Recruiting Coordinator will:

1. Maintain electronic applicant tracking system. 

2. Actively recruit for a subset of assigned positions to include sourcing, tracking and interviewing candidates. 

3. Serve as a trusted advisor for the Hiring Managers in making candidate recommendations for assigned positions. 

4. Manage external advertising including newspaper and electronic advertisements. 

5. Design recruiting content to include event advertisements, internal promotions, and social media posts. 

6. Maintain internal communications including weekly job listing and bulletin board content. 

7. Organize and participate in hiring events and other community outreach activities. 

8. Act as a liaison with all temporary staffing agencies and process temp hires. 

9. Process new hire onboarding and HRIS data entry. 

10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and assist in developing strategies to support our recruiting needs. 

Additional Responsibilities

1. Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.

2. Perform all other job-related duties and projects as assigned.

3. Will be required to travel between local facilities on a regular basis.

Requirements

Education, Experience, and Skills 

1. HS Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of Human Resources administrative experience with at least 1 year of recruiting experience preferred.

2. Must be organized, possess excellent attention to detail and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

3. Proven written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work in a highly collaborative and cooperative fashion across all levels of the organization.

4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly connect with candidates.

5. Proficient with MS Office Suite with experience using an applicant tracking system and design software such as Canva preferred.

6. HRIS experience preferred.

7. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of company information.
