Job Summary and Qualifications

The Labor & Delivery Scrub Tech has primary responsibility for scrubbing and assisting the Labor & Delivery surgical team during operative procedures.

Arranges and inventories sterile instruments and supplies for operative procedures and vaginal births within the Labor &Delivery unit.

What qualifications you will need :

Education : Requires completion of Surgical Tech Course or equivalent work experience.

Certification : Surgical Technician certification preferred. BLS certification through American Red Cross (AHA and military certifications accepted) required upon hire.

Licensure : Current license as Surgical Technologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia

Experience : 1-2 years scrub or hospital experience preferred.
