What You Will Do as a Home Health Hospice Aide

At Stonerise Hospice, a Home Health Hospice Aide career is more than a job or a calling it’s a chance to leave a legacy of service and love on someone’s life.

As a Home Health Hospice Aide you will be responsible for observing patients, reporting / documenting these observations and care performed.

Some of your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Providing personal care to patients including, bathing, changing bed linens, assisting with dressing, etc.
  • Preparing nutritious meals and assisting in feeding
  • Taking vitals such as, temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
  • Assisting in ambulation and exercise according to the plan of care
  • Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as needed
  • Assisting patients in the self-administration of medications
  • Reporting on patien
