Stonecrest Healthcare is Hiring a LPN Charge Nurse Near Salem, MO

LPN

Pay Range $32.00- $34.00

Stonecrest Healthcare Center in Viburnum MO a short drive from Salem MO. We are looking for an experienced LPN to work 12-hour shifts from 6a to 6p or 6p to 6a. To care for our aging population. If you're looking for a family friendly place to work, please apply.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and oversee the nursing staff in a healthcare setting
- Administer medications, including dermal fillers and DME (Durable Medical Equipment)
- Assist with infant care, including feeding, diaper changes, and monitoring vital signs
- Practice aseptic technique to prevent infection and maintain a sterile environment
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
- Utilize Cerner or other electronic medical record systems for documentation and patient care coordination
- Assist with suturing and wound care procedures
- Collaborate with ophthalmology specialists for eye-related patient care
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for patients

Experience:
- Must have a valid nursing license and be in good standing with the state board
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a charge nurse or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices
- Familiarity with various medical equipment and devices used in patient care
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make critical decisions in fast-paced environments

Pay: $30.50 - $32.50 per hour
