SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Periodontist, you will help with preparing patients, sterilizing instruments, setting up rooms, and assisting the dentist during dental procedures. This candidate will assist with surgeries and other duties around the office. Ability to communicate effectively with the patients, vendors, and practice employees will be necessary.
HOURS:
Monday - Friday: 7:45am - 5:00 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greets and welcomes patients in person and via phone.
· Assists in surgeries and IV sedations.
· Communicates with patients, parents, guardians, and visitors.
· Enters data using dental practice management software.
· Attends and participates in team meetings.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
· Performs sterilization and repackaging of instruments.
· Performs room turnover set up and break down.
· Implant case coordination including supplies, guides, equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
