Centennial Roofing is seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team. The Shop Foreman will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our roofing projects by managing materials transportation and overseeing light mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities:

Material Pickup and Delivery:

• Safely operate a Class A CDL vehicle to pick up and deliver materials to various job sites.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of material transportation and inventory.

Shop Management:

• Organize and maintain the shop area, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness.
• Manage inventory of roofing materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers to fulfill material needs for upcoming projects.

Light Mechanic Work:

• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks on small equipment and vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and ready for use.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with roofing crews to facilitate the efficient flow of materials and equipment.
• Provide support and assistance to team members as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth project operations.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL license.
• Previous experience in material transportation and logistics preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience with small equipment repair.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
