Project Overview
The client is getting ready to retire their legacy POS system and moving over to a new system. We are ideally looking for someone that's able to build use cases for the various functions of the legacy system, but also have the ability to dig through Java code and understand it in order to build work flows.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough documentation of legacy POS systems.
- Develop detailed use cases to ensure a complete understanding of the business domain.
- Create business process diagrams to visualize and improve our current processes.
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to gather necessary information for use case development.
- Work effectively within a team of two other Business Analysts to meet project goals.Must-Have Skillsets
-Can dig through Java coding and build process flows to support testing at their on-site lab
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to create clear and effective use cases and business process diagrams.
- Team-oriented mindset with experience working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Nice to Have Skillsets
- Strong understanding of POS systems and business process mapping.
Additional Details:
This is a fully remote position, however, you will need to be local to the Atlanta area as the client has a team-wide meeting twice a month and will need you onsite for that.
