This is a hands-on position and the ability to safely operate power hand tools.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Have experience in taking measurements and countertop templates. Digital templating experience is a plus.
• Have ability to demo existing countertops.
• Have knowledge in preparing the installation area by leveling and smoothing out the surface.
• Able to lift and carry heavy pieces of stone.
• Knowledge in different stone materials and their specific fabrication, preparation and installation needs.
• Knowledge using power tools to adjust surfaces on site if the need arises.
• Understands shop drawings and lays countertops and stone based on plans.
• Attach and install countertops and drill holes for fixtures as needed.
• Attach and install wall stone fixtures like fireplaces and backsplash.
• Must be able to successfully install and complete all projects, ensure that all joints are properly done, all holes are drilled, and all counters are cleaned and sealed.

Qualifications:

• Required: 3-5 years of experience
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Able to drill for fixtures
• Prior experience in countertop fabrication and installation
• Experience working with quartz, porcelain, marble, quartzite, dolomite, granite, etc.
• Ability to safely operate power hand tools
• Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level
• Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time
• Must have your own reliable transportation

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
