Stokesay Castle is Hiring a Wedding Coordinator Near Reading, PA

We are looking for a high-performing Food & Beverage, Wedding Coordinator to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized and a personable individual. The qualified candidate will have previous food & beverage sales and Events/Wedding Coordinator experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction
  • Arrange, manage and facilitate property tours and customer appointments/meetings
  • This is a very hands-on position, one that necessitates a high level of detail orientation, on-the-floor supervision before, during and after meal periods, and computer responsibility
  • The nature of the position requires the individual to be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Extensive contact with the Guest/Customer. Will coordinate internally with Stokesay Castle operations personnel.
  • Participates in completion of all of the appropriate forms used for in-house communication (contracts, BEO’s, etc.). Follows up with the proper department to ensure what has been committed to the client and is in face delivered
  • Coordinates food and beverage requirement with F&B department
  • Maintains proper documentation of records and files for follow up and future reference
  • Participates and coordinates in Sales Blitzes
  • Work closely with President

Skills

  • High level of detail orientation
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or Wedding Coordinator, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and POS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $36,000.00 per year
